Dr. Levine is an excellent physician. I felt he was caring and kind. He spent a lot of time with me discussing my diagnosis and plan of action. He made me feel extremely comfortable. He is extremely intelligent. He came highly recommended from a friend and I CAN’T THANK HER ENOUGH. I would recommend Dr. Levine without reservation. He is tops in his field.
I just had spine surgery performed by Dr. Marc. Levine. It’s been 2 weeks now and I am so grateful that I was put in Dr. Levine’s path. I have done nothing but benefit from the care, professionalism, attentiveness, and apparent super skill of this fine gentleman. He could not have been more warm and concerned both before and after my procedure was performed. His true care and concern extended to him personally calling me the night of my surgery to see how I was doing. I would refer him to anyone who may need his skills, bedside manner and wonderful nature……in a heartbeat! My surgery was successful and I am no longer in pain, thanks to him. Dr. Levine is the ABSOLUTE best spinal surgeon in this metropolitan area. He literally SAVED my life twice. In 2009, my lower back disc was buldging and pressing on my sciatic nerve. I went with his recommendation and opted for surgery. I 100% felt like a new person. In 2013, my neck disc blew out pinning nerves against my spinal cord. I immediately contacted Dr. Levine and in 4 days I was in surgery. I felt 100% better. If you follow his instructions and do the regimen for physical therapy and wear the appropriate gear as instructed you will heal 100%. I trust him with my life!
Dr. Levine performed spinal fusion on my lower spine a little less than a year ago, hands down best decision I’ve ever made! I really don’t think there are words to express my feelings or gratitude for Dr. Levine. He has helped get rid of the crippling pain I had and my life is finally getting back to normal. Dr. Levine has been 100% professional, presented the facts of my condition with detail and his follow up has been the best I have ever experienced. Every meeting I have with him, I was greeted with a warm smile and he always listened and answered my questions. I even received a phone call from him late at night because he wanted to make sure he got back to me and that was after a long day of surgery. I was in severe pain when I first met Dr. Levine and scared to death. The thought of having surgery on my neck was terrifying. By the end of my initial consult, I knew I had found the right dr. If anyone out there is in need of spinal surgery, I absolutely recommend Dr. Marc Levine at RWJ Barnabas in Hamilton. The intense nerve pain that I had been dealing with since February was because the disc had basically completely deteriorated away. There was about a millimeter of space between the C7 and T1 causing compression of the nerve.
Within moments of waking up after the surgery I could already tell the surgery was a success. I spent the last month in a neck brace, taking it really easy and by week three I could tell I was going to make a full recovery.
On top of being a great surgeon, he is also a great person. Six days before the surgery date, my insurance company got back with only a partial approval. Dr. Levine, realizing the surgery date couldn’t be pushed back, and there was no time to go back-and-forth with the insurance company, decided he would just not bill me for that portion! 
Dr. Levine was very pleasant and Professional and would definitely go back to him and recommend him.

Dr. Levine has been the best doctor for me and my family. He was understanding, knowledgeable and very caring. 4 out of 5 members of my family have used him. He did a surgery on my 16 year old daughter who had been in pain for 3 years. He explained he had never done this particular surgery before.
