Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion or ALIF is a procedure used to treat conditions such as advanced disc degeneration that results in mild spine Instability, or spine deformities such as curvature.

The Four steps procedure aims to stabilize up to two vertebral bodies and stimulate them to grow together into one solid bone, eventually reducing back pain and eliminating other symptoms.
